You may sit in on the lessons if you wish and you will get a weekly handout of what we do each lesson with ideas to reinforce the concepts taught during the week.

Dr. Erika Sueker, Head of School, and KFK Guitar Faculty has graciously opened her school to the community and homeschool families.

ALL CLASSES at Golden Independent School are open to the public. This school is conveniently located near the Jeffco Gov't buildings off Hwy 93 and Heritage Road at 1280 Golden Circle.

As a former homeschool mom, I know how hard it can be to find quality music education for your children. Keyboards For Kids! is the perfect solution for homeschoolers. Many on our staff are highly degreed in music, so your children will be taught by the best of the best. Our classes are specially designed for multi-age, small groups of beginners. We use lots of games and movement activities to make music fun. Our goal is that the children will learn to love and appreciate music--they will beg you to come back next week! Music builds brains and enriches lives. Ms. Janelle Cook, our Assistant Director, was a home school Mom so we understand the challenges of home schooling! We make it easy for you! All we need is 6-10 students and a large room with 2-3 tables and we will do the rest (many churches will let us use their facilities if no one in your home school group has a large room). We can also provide family classes if you want to take lessons with your children and learn along with them. You and your children will have a chance to play together and learn music at the same time!

When your child outgrows our program or wishes to continue his/her music education with a private teacher (a local private teacher or one of your staff), they will get so much more out these lessons as they will already know the basics and already have a love of music!

Currently, most of our classes are taught in public schools during the after school program. We have many teachers available to come to you during the day or in the evening. Call or e-mail us to arrange a class today!

Our web site also lists current facilities where classes are available to home schoolers, but we are not limited to those locations, times, instruments, or beginner classes. We have many highly qualified musicians on our staff available to teach other instruments, advanced classes, choir, jazz or string ensemble, etc. Please call the office at 303-215-1535 if you have an interest in another instrument or group class.
